Box Tops for Education 
Box Tops for Education is a fundraising program that has helped America's schools earn over $250 million in the past 12 years. During the 2008-2009 school year, Waterbury earned over $1,300 through the Box Tops for Education program. Waterbury beat last year's earnings during the 2009-2010 school year, earning nearly $1,500 from the Box Tops for Education program. Way to go, Waterbury!
Box Tops offers three easy ways to earn cash for our school through everyday activities such as buying groceries, shopping online and purchasing books.
• Clip — Clip Box Top coupons from hundreds of participating products and send them to school. Each Box Tops coupon is worth 10¢ and they really add up! This is Waterbury's primary earning category from the Box Tops program.
• NEW! Thank a Teacher — Through the Box Tops web site, several Waterbury teachers have created an online registry for their class with all the items and supplies their classroom needs. Search for Waterbury wish lists and purchase items that are needed or simply donate money to the classroom registry. The teachers get what they need and the school gets a 2% donation on all purchases added to their Box Tops check. • Shop — Shop at your favorite online stores through the Box Tops Marketplace. Up to 8% of each qualifying purchase is automatically donated to our school. There is no additional cost to your purchase and many exclusive deals and discounts can be found.
• Buy books — Purchase books online at Barnes & Noble through the Box Tops Reading Room. Our school will receive 6% of your new book purchases and 3% of all other online purchases.
• Seeing how much our school is earning with Box Tops
• Entering online promotions for chances to win Bonus Box Tops
• Printing money-saving coupons for your favorite Box Tops brands
• Making mealtime easier with family-pleasing recipes
• Plus, you can sign up for email newsletters to receive new product updates and Box Tops members-only deals and discounts at Box Tops Marketplace retail stores.
Believe it or not, our school can earn as much as $60,000 from the Box Tops program, so keep on clipping those Box Tops and start all your online shopping in the Box Tops Marketplace. There is no telling how much we can earn!
