Empties4Cash
Do you have an HP, Lexmark, Xerox, Compaq, Brother, Dell, Canon or Apple printer? Did you know that any original manufacturer inkjet cartridge with a print head can be recycled, regardless of brand or type?
Waterbury PTO is participating in a fabulous program that enables us to raise money for our school while helping the environment. Empties4Cash is a fundraising and recycling program in which Waterbury families can bring in used inkjet cartridges that may be eligible for recycling and remanufacturing. Waterbury will receive up to $4.00 for each cartridge turned in, which will directly benefit our school and students, not to mention it is great for the environment too!
A few notes to remember:
Please send your empty cartridges to school in a paper lunchbag or wrapped in newspaper - they are more environmentally-friendly than plastic bags.
Please do not send toner cartridges - Empties4Cash does not accept them at this time.
Empties4Cash does not accept remanufactured, refilled or damaged cartridges, as well as cartridges that do not have print heads.
If you have any questions about the Empties4Cash program, please visit the Empties4Cash Web site or contact Waterbury's Empties4Cash Coordinator Colleen Koch at 630-694-3069.
